ATA 2200

ATA iSpec 2200 is a global aviation industry standard for the content, structure, and electronic exchange of aircraft engineering and maintenance information. It consists of a suite of data specifications pertaining to maintenance requirements and procedures and aircraft configuration control.

ATA 2300

ATA Spec 2300 provides a concise set of information standards and guidelines for the management, configuration and interchange of flight operations technical data.

DITA

The Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) specification defines a set of document types for authoring and organizing topic-oriented information, as well as a set of mechanisms for combining, extending, and constraining document types. It is an open standard that is defined and maintained by the OASIS DITA Technical Committee.

XML

Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a simple, very flexible text format derived from SGML (ISO 8879). Originally designed to meet the challenges of large-scale electronic publishing, XML is also playing an increasingly important role in the exchange of a wide variety of data on the Web and elsewhere.

XSLT

XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations) is a language for transforming XML documents into other XML documents, or other formats such as HTML for web pages, plain text or XSL Formatting Objects, which may subsequently be converted to other formats, such as PDF, PostScript and PNG.

XSL-FO

XSL is a stylesheet language. It is used to present content to PDF or paper-based output.

DITAOT

DITA Open Toolkit is a publishing engine for content authored in the Darwin Information Typing Architecture.
